MASTER CLASS DIGITAL PRINT                                     

Viaderna developed a special training in document examination on digital printing.

After this training the participant is totally up-to-date in digital printing techniques that are available in the market, and knows how to recognize them.

This training is specially focussed on recognizing the different printing techniques on the print itself. Not an unnecessary skill for document experts in anti-counterfeit environments.

This is a three days course. Next topics are a part of the course:

• Postscript and other printing languages
• Bitmap vs. Vector
• Halftoning, dithering, contone
• basic color metrics
• Digital printing techniques: Xerography, Inkjet, Magnetography, Dye Sublimation, Thermal Mass, Transfer, Laser engraving, Memjet, Solid Ink, Chrystal Point, Zink

•  Equipment / How to use, how to interpret - Different microscopes, magnifier, Infrared cam, UV-light, Colori-meters, etc.

Participants will receive on the third day documents of all different techniques to determine what technique is used to produce that specific document. Examples of all techniques together with microscopic images are part of the training material and form after this course a serious library of information that can be used in practise.
